Mike and Ashley’s October Wedding at The Inn at Vint Hill was a lovely affair. Their outdoor ceremony space was beautiful. White chairs lined the center aisle that was scattered with sweet rose petals. Those petals drew my eye directly to the large hand-made wooden cross Mike built for he and Ashley’s wedding day. Not only was the cross aesthetically pleasing, adorned with gorgeous blossoms, but it was a beautiful testament, that they wanted Jesus at the front and center of their wedding day, and lives.

 Mike and Ashley may be one of the sweetest couples of all time. Mike is a police officer, and Ashley is in nursing school, these two have hearts of gold.  They also have really beautiful friends. Mike’s best friends prayed over him before he went down for his first look with Ashley, praying for a beautiful wedding, but also for a fruitful marriage. That isn’t something I often see, and it left a lasting impression.

After their first look Ashley and Mike read sweet letters to one another and then took some gorgeous portraits on the property at The Inn at Vint Hill. The weather was unseasonably warm, but the rain held off so we were grateful!  Violinsts played Pachabel’s Canon in D as Ashley was escorted down the aisle by her father. She and Mike recited vows to one another, and also washed each other’s feet, symbolizing that they were prepared for a life of sacrificial love as husband and wife.

The big white tent was decorated with twinkly lights, classic white linens, candles, garden roses and eucalyptus branches. It was a sight to behold. Mike and Ashley waltzed to Ben Rector’s Forever Like That, wowing everyone with their grapevines, three quarter turns, and dips.  The evening was filled with heart felt toasts, accomanying belly laughs, delicious dinner, and a packed dance floor. We closed the night enjoying delicious Duck Donuts.
