Hanna and Greg had the loveliest Wedding at the Josephine Butler Parks Center in Washington, D.C. After a stunning first look on the grand staircase of this historic home, we took portraits outside on the upstairs balcony. The light was beautiful, and Hanna looked so radiant! After portraits they declared their vows to one another surrounded by their closest family and friends. Cocktail hour was beautiful with a live Scottish band. (The bagpipe was definitely my favorite!)

At the forefront of their reception decor was a stunning heirloom quilt that has been at weddings in Hanna’s family for 100’s of years. It was amazing to read the little tags that had been pinned onto the quilt with the dates of the various weddings. The four fireplaces throughout the home were also decorated beautifully.

The couple chose a unique spin on the traditional wedding cake and ordered a special “cheese cake”. It included layers of Manchego, Brie and Peccorino cheeses. I loved how creative you were Hanna and Greg. I’m so thankful I was able to be a part of your wedding day, and I wish you all the best in your new life together!
