I had the best time with Jon and Sophie during their Old Town Alexandria Engagement Session. Old Town Alexandria is a dream for portraits because you can wander and find the sweetest places.  Cobblestones, Ivy lined paths, Crepe Myrtle trees, and beautiful evening light. This session had it all. Also, we got some beautiful photos in the town square with the giant American Flag, it just seemed so fitting with Jon in his uniform.

I met Jon through our young adult group at church, and Tuesday was the first time I was able to meet his fiance Sophie. They are seriously the sweetest couple. Very kind, and so supportive of one another. They will be married in November and embark on their adventure as husband and wife with an overseas deployment. I’m so excited to have been able to capture their relationship during this special time. Jon and Sophie, I wish you nothing but the best in your lives together!
